Playa Grande:

Playa Grande is the main beach in Puerto del Carmen and one of the most popular on the island. It has golden sand, calm waters and a long promenade with restaurants, bars and shops.

It is perfect for swimming, sunbathing or enjoying water sports such as paddle boarding or jet skiing.

Playa Chica:

Playa Chica is a small and charming beach close to the old town of Puerto del Carmen. It is one of the best places on the island for snorkelling and diving thanks to its clear waters and marine life.

Timanfaya:

Timanfaya National Park is one of the most spectacular places in Lanzarote. Its landscape was shaped by volcanic eruptions and looks almost like another planet.

Visitors can explore the area, enjoy geothermal demonstrations and discover one of the island’s most iconic natural attractions.

César Manrique:

César Manrique helped shape Lanzarote’s identity by combining art and nature. Some of his best-known sites are Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes, Mirador del Río and Jardín de Cactus.

Good food:

Near Puerto del Carmen you will find a wide variety of restaurants, from traditional Canarian food to fresh fish, seafood and international cuisine.

Road trips:

Exploring Lanzarote by car is one of the best ways to discover the island. A short itinerary can include Timanfaya, La Geria and Papagayo, while a longer route can also include the north of the island.

Lanzarote is a great destination for families, with beaches, easy walks, animal parks, boat trips and many relaxed outdoor activities for all ages.
